Università degli studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia with the collaboration of XLIM, Université de Limoges presented a talk on "Mode Coupling and Ultimate Loss Limit in Hollow Core Fibers" at the Advanced Photonic Congress 2024 in Québec, Canada
A theoretical model describing the modes coupling in hollow core inhibited coupling fibers is presented. This model gives new insights about the ultimate limits in terms of loss and bandwidth of this kind of fiber.
